M. O’Neal Mitchell - “Mitchell”

Mitchell joined Stoddard’s Training Academy in 2015 as a part-time instructor. He was appointed Director of Training in 2017 and was, later, promoted to Director of Operations in 2018.

Influenced by his study the Japanese martial arts, Mitchell’s approach to the gun and the discipline of shooting is consistent with how the Samurai regarded the sword, and the study thereof – with great care, respect, and intentionality.

Evident in both his teaching and shooting style, Mitchell places a strong focus on developing both one’s physical and mental attributes necessary to shoot effectively and efficiently.

Alyssa Solé Boyce - “Tear Drop”

Solé began shooting recreationally when she was just 11 years of age but, at the age of 21, wanted to develop her defensive shooting skills and committed to doing so when she joined Stoddard’s Range and Guns as a Range Associate in 2019. A fast learner and having a uniquely positive and humble disposition, Sole not only accomplished her markswomanship goals but quickly matriculated through the company as well, eventually becoming a Lead Sales Associate.  

Considered “The Fun” instructor, Solé’s upbeat demeanor and ability to communicate the information in a simple, concise, and related fashion, she’s particularly successful in guiding younger and “first-time” shooters through their early learning experience. She’s particularly passionate about sharing her knowledge with new-shooters, children, and women.

Instructor Boyce joined Stoddard’s Range & Gun’s in 2019 and graduated Stoddard’s Training Academy’s Instructor Development Course (DELTA Cluster, Group 1) with Honors and currently holds the rank of Certified Instructor, Level III. She is qualified to provide instruction in pistol, rifle, and shotgun platforms, and can facilitate STA’s basic and intermediate civilian course offerings.

Chastity White - “Chazz”

Chastity “Chazz” White is a true product of Stoddard’s Training Academy. When she joined the company in 2018, in an administrative role, she possessed very little firearms knowledge; but her thirst for knowledge, warm disposition, strong work ethic and dedication, now, not only serves as Assistant to the Director Operations and Events Director but also holds the distinction as a Certified Instructor as well. Through her efforts she’s earned the title “Stoddard’s Mascot”!

Her love and compassion for people and instructing creates a welcoming environment and has earned her the unofficial title “Stoddard’s Mascot” an the official distinction of being one of two women to first graduate STA’s Instructor Development Course (IDC). Chazz specializes in dynamic handgun, shotgun and rifle training with a keen focus on fundamentals, aim & accuracy. She is certified in First Aid, CPR and Stop The Bleed(Gunshot Wound & Trauma Care). 

When it comes to firearms safety, nothing is more important to Chazz. Rest assured that you will have a new outlook on firearms and how to properly handle them after training with Chazz.

She is qualified to provide instruction in pistol, rifle, shotgun platforms, and can facilitate all of STA’s current civilian-class educational and training offerings.

Cierra Adams - “Cee-Cee”

Listen, Look, Learn.” is Cee-Cee’s personal mantra and this is exemplified in just about everything she does. The quiet professionals, professional – her calm, soft demeanor brings a unique sophistication to her teaching style and thereby affords her the ability to communicate everything from the most fundamental to more sophisticated concepts with a high degree of efficacy.

“Through the training that I have been fortunate enough to receive as a Stoddard’s Training Academy Certified Instructor, I’ve learned to be patient, with myself, and trust the process of growth. Instructing is an amazing experience for me. I like to give those I’m instructing a positive training experience in a fun but, more importantly, safe environment.”

Instructor Peterson graduated Stoddard’s Training Academy’s Instructor Development Course (DELTA Cluster, Group 1) with Honors and currently holds the rank of Certified Instructor, Level III. She is qualified to provide instruction in pistol, rifle, and shotgun platforms and can facilitate all of STA’s current civilian-class educational and training offerings.

Key Gray - “Key Opens Doors”

Key Gray joined Stoddards Range & Gun’s as a Rage Associate in 2018 and completed Stoddard’s Training Academy’s rigorous six-week Instructor Development Course with honors in 2019. Key’s extensive firearms experience, humorous and out-going personality makes his classes and sessions especially fun and exciting. As a result, he has developed a significant and popular following amongst new and less-experienced shooters, earning him his well-deserved nickname “Key Opens Doors.”

Key is responsible for creating much of the curriculum for STA’s Women’s programs. He’s also  Certified NRA Instructor (Handgun and Rifle).
